Welcome our new Studio Manager Blakelyn to the team!

Blakelyn is a former Project Manager who became a Stay-at-Home-Mom when her youngest was born 3 years ago. With her oldest in Kindergarten and her youngest now in Preschool, Blakelyn was looking for a creative outlet and was eager to start working again. 11 Sixteen Photography has been photographing Blakelyn’s kids since her oldest was 5 months old, so when Kelly reached out to her asking if she’d be interested in helping out at the studio, Blakelyn was thrilled with the opportunity!

Blakelyn is Mom to two amazing kids (Elliana, 5 and Dixon, 3) and has a wonderful, supportive husband, Scott. While her background is in Engineering, her passion is less technical and more artistic. She loves photography (of course!), traveling, and has a newfound love for painting. On Tuesday nights after the kids are in bed, you can usually find her following along to a watercolor paint tutorial. Other nights, she’s probably catching up on her Netflix backlog. She’s looking forward to meeting our incredible clients, assisting during sessions, keeping our blog up to speed, and delivering galleries!
